My experience with Son de Flor - the most amazing dress.
The Packaging
I'm only passionate about brands I love and align with my lifestyle - natural, simple, and lived in. When Son de Flor agreed to work with me, I was ecstatic. They shipped the dress promptly and it arrived so beautifully packaged, all wrapped in a bow. There is nothing like the attention to detail with Son de Flor.
I opened up the dress and immediately tried it on, it draped and flowed so nicely with the highest quality linen I've ever had in a garment. At 8 1/2 months pregnant, it still fit and made me feel the prettiest I've felt this entire pregnancy. I selected the wrap dress in the color Evergreen, it's the most gorgeous color green I've seen in a linen fabric.
The Dress
The fit of the wrap dress was perfect. The hem fits just below my knees and one of the best parts was that it has pockets. Amazingly made, perfect fit, and has pockets? Yes, please. The short sleeves are lined in white to give you the option to roll them up and create a new look - the attention to detail is incredible. The dress itself has the *swoosh* I've never had in a dress before. When you twirl, the dress twirls with you - literally like a princess dress would. All while being the softest linen dress without being itchy... no itch whatsoever.
This dress is going to be absolutely amazing postpartum. For breastfeeding and for feeling beautiful in a different stage in life. It's easy to care for, breathable (which is perfect for this North Carolina heat and humidity), and one of a kind. This dress is going to be a big staple in my every day life, which aligns exactly with what I want with brands. In the slow season of life I am in, there is no hurry to the closet to wonder what to wear. Choosing this dress from my closet again and again makes my life so much simpler in my day to day life.
My Final Review
I think it's pretty clear to say that this dress is the best dress I've owned yet- and I own a LOT of dresses. None of them quite compare to this Son de Flor Linen Wrap Dress. I highly recommend this company and their clothing - not only for the clothing, but for the amazing customer service, attention to detail, and what they stand for. Their love for the environment shows with how they make and ship their products, from minimal waste in packaging to using eco friendly materials for detailing. Their linen is ethically-made from OEKO-TEX certified natural linen - which makes it safe for people and the environment. You don't find that with many brands much anymore! Sustainable, comfortable, timeless, and real.
From feeding my chickens to feeding my baby, this dress is the most perfect dress for this season of life. I am 100% certain it will be for yours as well.
